Militants hang 8-year-old boy in southern Afghanistan -
CNN - An 8 year-old boy was hanged by militants in Afghanistan's Helmand province after the boy's father -- a police officer in the southern city of Gereshk -- refused to comply with militants' demands to provide them with a police vehicle, officials said."

Terrorist strike Oslo, Norway

Update: CNN - The man accused of killing at least 93 people in Norway has said he carried out the bombing and mass shooting.

BBC News - A massive bomb blast has hit government buildings in the Norwegian capital Oslo, killing at least seven people and injuring 15 others.

The bomb was followed by a shooting incident near Oslo at a youth meeting of the Labour Party by a man dressed as a police office.
